Professional background
Developer Experience is built on two decades of hands-on work creating developer guides, API reference documentation, technical writing standards, and documentation architecture for production teams across large technology companies and startups, including Google, Microsoft, and Meta.

Prior experience writing developer guides, API reference documentation, and architectural overviews for Meta’s Horizon VR platforms provided deep insight into documenting spatial computing, immersive gaming, and hardware-adjacent developer workflows.
That experience drives our current approach for using AI and automation to encourage early developer contributions to documentation through source code, design proposals, and new API definitions.

Work on developer landing pages, documentation planning, content navigation systems, and multi-platform game development guides at Google shaped an understanding of how large organizations balance the needs of developer marketing, developer relations, and product engineering.
Those lessons directly influence how we design scalable documentation systems today.

Experience creating hardware and software documentation for IoT platforms, mobile devices, and developer tools at Microsoft accelerated an understanding of how to document products that span both software and hardware lifecycles.
This perspective influences how we approach documentation for complex, multi-disciplinary systems.
